Welcome back to Molly's Muse, this week I'm talking all about holiday shopping! Christmas Eve is only week away, Hannukuh is in full effect (I wish we could slow down time for the next 2 weeks). I'm also missing some snow on the ground to put me in the holiday spirit this year. Nonetheless, I'll be driving to Starbucks this week with my Christmas music turned up, and heading into town for some good 'ol local shopping :)
There are some amazing stores around Lake Minnetonka; I'm excited to share some of my favorites with you.
5 Swans
What I love about this store is that you can find a gift for everyone. From upscale home decor to Lake Minnetonka trinkets, 5 swans will not let you down! This store is great for the host/hostess or interior design lover. It's hard not to find something for yourself here.
Near and North
Wayzata has a new shop in town, and it's very adorable. Near and North has gifts for the trendy fashionista, and you can also find some cozy gifts that will warm up someone's holiday season. They also just started carrying my Lake Minnetonka and Gull Lake Sweaters :) They are located by Starbucks on Lake Street.
J McLaughlin
This store is my weakness for chic apparel. If you've never been, J McLaughlin carries men and women's clothing and accessories that are sophisticated and chic. Being an East Coast company, you can also find classic nautical and equestrian-style pieces that are timeless. Definitely one of my favorite shops on Lake Street, Wayzata!
COV
Our local restaurants need our support now more than ever. Cov is offering a $20 bonus card for every $100 gift card purchased. Plus, they have some great take-out options for the holidays: Christmas dinner, Christmas morning brunch, and even New Years!
Sun and Slope
This store will give you all the good winter feelings! What I love most about Sun and Slope is that they carry luxe ski apparel for the outdoorsy one you're shopping for. They also have plenty of gorgeous sweaters, boots, and accessories.
Wuollet Bakery
Wayzata's quaintest bakery, Wuollet's, is having some holiday specials to make your holiday meal spectacular. Cookies, cakes, pies... Check out their entire menu!
Please get out this weekend and next week to support our lovely lake community! I cannot imagine Wayzata without any of these charming stores and restaurants--they make our town such a special place to call home. Happy Holidays to you and yours :)
